Introduction

This document is designed for Tax e-Filing system users. Tax e-Filing system is an on-line system, which enables registration of e-users, taxpayer registration, filing of tax declarations and tax payment processes (it is referred as a system as well further in the document). The following main functions are available in the system:

   User registration and administration (request for user account or edit user data).

   Taxpayer e-Registration (general and tax type specific taxpayer registration).

   Assigning and revoking the rights to operate on behalf of other taxpayer (Representations).

   Online preparation and submission of the following Saint Lucia specific declarations:

  Personal Income Tax return;

  Corporate Income Tax return;

  Property Tax Residential Property Declaration

  VAT Return;

  Return of remuneration paid and tax deducted.

   Payment of taxes using e-Services of the system.

   Information submission to the taxpayer.

The purpose of this document is to describe all functionality of an external user, who is able to represent himself/herself as a taxpayer or another taxpayer.

To facilitate easy inquiries, the manual is divided into chapters where different system objects are described. Chapters are divided into sub-chapters, to help the users to find information about specific actions more quickly.

The first chapter is an introduction, where short description of the system, main process and main objects are presented.

The second chapter describes information about logging in to the system and logging out, system menu, password resetting or reminding. Also there you’ll find a description how to become an external user and edit you user account data.

The third chapter describes taxpayer registration process.

The fourth chapter describes how representation rights can be administrated.

The fifth chapter describes declaration filling and submitting.

The sixth chapter gives description of paying taxes.

The seventh chapter contains information how to view and administrate received information messages.
